WILMINGTON, DELAWARE--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2009) - Global Biotech Corp. (OTCBB:GBIQ), a publicly traded company under the symbol GBIQ on the OTCBB, is pleased to announce that Wykanta International Inc. (WII) is acquiring the exclusive Asian distribution rights for all of Global Biotech's product line including its leading product "AquaboostTM", an oxygenated water destined to become a leader in the fast growing oxygenated water consumer market. GBC is a Montreal, Quebec based nutraceutical company dedicated to the development of green consumer health products. The Company intends to introduce a new line of natural oxygenated fruit beverages in the near future.
Under the terms of the agreement Wykanta International Inc. will have the exclusive distribution rights for all Global Biotech products for Asia which include such countries as; China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and India. The agreement applies to all of GBC's existing product line as well as any new products that may be introduced in the future. This agreement provides Wykanta with an expanded customer base that it will sell to, in addition to its Adnutrio weight loss line of products. Wykanta views this arrangement with GBC as very promising for its future growth prospects.
