India is aggressively pursuing a leadership role in the global automotive industry, aiming to become the world's largest car market by 2030. This ambition is fueled by several strategic initiatives including the push towards electric vehicles (EVs), with the government setting a target for 30% of private cars, 70% of commercial vehicles, and 80% of two- and three-wheelers to be electric by 2030.
