The Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, has launched several economic empowerment initiatives aimed at fostering self-reliance and sustainable development in the state. These initiatives include the establishment of the Nagaland Entrepreneurship Hub (NEHHUB) to support startups and entrepreneurs, the introduction of the Nagaland Skill Development Council to enhance skill training, and the launch of the Nagaland Bamboo Mission to promote bamboo-based industries. Additionally, the CM inaugurated the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) to empower rural communities through various livelihood programs. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to reduce dependency on government jobs, promote local entrepreneurship, and leverage the state's natural resources for economic growth.
