State transportation officials in Pennsylvania are set to host a distracted driving demonstration at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg on April 12, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event, organized by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), aims to educate the public on the dangers of distracted driving, particularly texting while driving. The demonstration will feature a unique setup where participants can experience the consequences of distracted driving in a controlled environment, using a driving simulator and other interactive exhibits.
