Sheriff: 2-year-old shot in Cocoa, transported to hospital

A 2-year-old boy was shot in the leg in Cocoa, Florida, and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on a Sunday, and the child was found by police in a car at the intersection of Washington Avenue and State Road 520. The police are currently investigating the shooting and have not released any information about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
