Chinese national pleads guilty to transporting guns for North Korea

Shenghua Wen, 42, of Ontario, California, concealed the weapons inside shipping containers that left the Port of Long Beach.


A Chinese national, Xiaohong Ban, pleaded guilty to transporting stolen Apple products valued at over $1.2 million from the U.S. to China. Ban, who was arrested in 2021, admitted to stealing the products from a warehouse in Massachusetts and shipping them to Hong Kong. She faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, with her sentencing scheduled for June 21.
