Bangkok [Thailand], April 4 (ANI): Nepal Foreign Affairs Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and foreign ministers of BIMSTEC member countries signed the Agreement on Maritime Transport Cooperation during the summit in Bangkok on Thursday. The foreign ministers of Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar signed the agreement. Show [â€¦]

The 6th BIMSTEC Summit, held in Bangkok, concluded with Nepal's Foreign Affairs Minister N.P. Saud and representatives from other member countries signing an agreement on maritime transport cooperation. The summit focused on enhancing regional connectivity and cooperation in various sectors including trade, investment, and technology. Key outcomes included the adoption of the Bangkok Vision 2030, aimed at fostering a prosperous, resilient, and open BIMSTEC community. Additionally, the leaders agreed to establish a BIMSTEC Technology Transfer Facility and a Centre for Weather and Climate, emphasizing the importance of technological and environmental collaboration among the member nations.
