FedEx is exploring the possibility of establishing a regional air hub in India, following its recent decision to set up a hub in Dubai. This move is part of FedEx's strategy to enhance its logistics network in Asia, capitalizing on India's growing market and its strategic location. The company is currently in discussions with Indian authorities to assess the feasibility of this project, which could significantly boost India's logistics infrastructure. The potential hub would serve not only India but also act as a gateway for cargo to and from other parts of Asia, Europe, and Africa, leveraging India's increasing trade volumes and economic growth.
