Sinopec and Syensqo sign strategic partnership framework agreement

Sinopec and Syensqo have signed a strategic partnership framework agreement to collaborate on the development and industrialization of polyamide 66 (PA66) and its related engineering plastics, aiming to enhance their presence in the high-performance materials market. This partnership will leverage Sinopec's capabilities in raw material supply and production, and Syensqo's expertise in specialty polymers, to drive innovation and sustainability in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, and oil and gas. The agreement includes plans for joint research and development, technology transfer, and the establishment of a production base in China, with the goal of meeting the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable materials in these industries.
