Consultants found inefficiencies in every part of the agency they reviewed.
A recent report commissioned by the Oregon Legislature has concluded that the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) requires significant structural changes to enhance transparency and improve project management. The report, conducted by the consulting firm ECONorthwest, highlights issues such as a lack of clear accountability, inadequate public engagement, and inefficient project delivery.
