AT staff are back in their waterfront headquarters after being evacuated on Monday afternoon.

A suspicious item discovered at Auckland Transport's headquarters on Quay Street prompted a significant emergency response and evacuation of the building on June 20, 2024. The item, found in a bathroom, led to the deployment of the police's armed offenders squad and the cordoning off of the area.
