Newark airspace failure is "frightening": Trump transportation secretary

The outage, which lasted from 7:21 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET, resulted in over 10,000 flight delays and more than 1,300 cancellations nationwide. Chao criticized the current Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, for his handling of the situation, suggesting that the incident highlighted broader issues within the Department of Transportation under his leadership.
