  A Russian defense official Sunday said trains carrying the remains of Ukrainian soldiers would be dispatched to an area near the Ukrainian border, stepping up tensions over a prisoner swap between Moscow and Kyiv.

On June 8, 2025, Moscow's Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports temporarily closed due to a reported Ukrainian drone strike, causing significant disruptions with flights being diverted and delayed.
