Search for missing flight MH370 suspended due to bad weather - Malaysia transport minister

  • The search for the Malaysian Airlines flight, which mysteriously disappeared in 2014, will only resume at the end of the year.

The search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which disappeared on March 8, 2014, with 239 people on board, has been temporarily suspended due to bad weather, as announced by Malaysia's Transport Minister Anthony Loke. The suspension comes after a US technology company, Ocean Infinity, proposed to resume the search in the southern Indian Ocean on a "no find, no fee" basis. Loke mentioned that the government is open to resuming the search once the weather improves and is currently reviewing Ocean Infinity's proposal, with hopes of bringing closure to the families of the victims.
