Pedestrian transported to hospital after being hit by vehicle on Route 15

A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Route 15 in Carroll Township, Pennsylvania, on March 14, 2024. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when the pedestrian, a 34-year-old man, was walking in the southbound lanes and was hit by a southbound vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The pedestrian was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. The southbound lanes of Route 15 were closed for about two hours following the incident. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
