Shimla, May 18 (PTI) The transport department's revenue collection jumped 17 per cent on year to Rs 912 crore in the 2024-25 fiscal, Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said on Sunday. The department will surpass revenue collection of Rs 1,000 crore at the end of the 2025-26 fiscal after generating already Rs 150 [â€¦]

The Himachal Pradesh Transport Department's revenue increased by 17% year-over-year, reaching Rs 912 crore in the fiscal year 2024-25, as announced by Transport Minister Rajesh Dharmani. This growth was attributed to a rise in vehicle registrations and an increase in the collection of motor vehicle taxes.
