Firefighters responded to fire in New London Friday night

Firefighters from multiple towns responded to a significant fire at a home on Forest Acres Road in New London, New Hampshire, on a Sunday afternoon. The fire, which started around 1:30 p.m., caused extensive damage to the house, with flames visible through the roof upon the arrival of the first responders. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The New London Fire Department was assisted by fire crews from several neighboring communities, including Sunapee, Sutton, Wilmot, and Newbury.
