Man pleads guilty to transporting stolen human remains from Harvard Medical School

A Pennsylvania man, Jeremy Pauley, pleaded guilty to charges related to the trafficking of stolen human remains from Harvard Medical School and an Arkansas mortuary. Pauley admitted to purchasing remains, including stillborn babies, from a network that included Cedric Lodge, the former morgue manager at Harvard, who stole the remains before they were supposed to be cremated. Pauley's plea is part of a broader federal investigation into the illegal trade of human body parts, which also involved other individuals buying and selling remains across multiple states.
