Power steering has been present in production cars for decades, but EPS is the latest in innovative technology that's changing how modern cars handle.

EPS stands for "Electronic Power Steering," a system used in vehicles to assist with steering by using an electric motor instead of traditional hydraulic systems. This technology, which first appeared in the 1980s, offers benefits such as improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and enhanced steering feel. EPS systems are now common in many modern vehicles, providing drivers with a more responsive and adaptable steering experience. The system's electric motor adjusts the level of assistance based on vehicle speed and other factors, making steering easier at low speeds and firmer at high speeds for better control.
