The limitations observed in current lithium-ion battery performance in cold weather are recognized within the industry, and considerable research efforts are focused on developing next-generation battery technologies. Solid-state batteries, widely anticipated to offer superior performance across a broader range of temperatures, represent a particularly promising avenue.
