White House names McNeill acting head of Transportation Security Administration

The White House has appointed Deidre A. McNeill as the acting director of the Office of Legislative Affairs, following the departure of Louisa Terrell. McNeill, who has been with the White House since the beginning of the Biden administration, previously served as the principal deputy director and has extensive experience in legislative affairs, having worked in the Obama administration and on Capitol Hill. Her appointment comes at a crucial time as the administration aims to advance its legislative priorities, including negotiations on the debt ceiling and budget.
