Maruti Suzuki is investing approximately INR12 crore in the project, which aims to establish a network of 16 automated driving test tracks across Andhra Pradesh. The first phase of implementation is already complete, with several tracks now operational. These tracks aren't simply about adding a new layer of technology; they represent a fundamental shift in the approach to driver evaluation. The tracks are equipped with sensors and cameras, meticulously designed to assess a candidate's skills across a comprehensive range of maneuvers.

These maneuvers include, but aren't limited to, the 'H' test for precision, reverse parking, navigating a slalom course, emergency braking assessment, and observation of traffic signals - all crucial elements for safe driving. The automated system records performance data objectively, eliminating the potential for human bias or error. A detailed report is then generated, outlining the applicant's strengths and weaknesses, providing valuable feedback regardless of the test outcome.
