"This type of crime not only impacts property but directly affects the daily lives of students and families."

At Waukesha North High School in Wisconsin, a series of catalytic converter thefts from school buses has severely disrupted transportation services, leading to the cancellation of bus routes and delays in student transportation. The thefts, which occurred over the weekend, involved the removal of catalytic converters from 10 out of the 11 buses at the school, causing significant damage and rendering the buses inoperable. The Waukesha Police Department is investigating the incidents, and the school district is working to repair the buses and resume normal operations as quickly as possible. The thefts have not only affected the school's transportation but have also raised concerns about the safety and security of school property.
