Officials break ground on Grove Place II in New Orleans' Hollygrove neighborhood

A groundbreaking has happened for a new development which will bring 36 affordable homes to the Hollygrove neighborhood.

On March 2, 2023, officials broke ground on Grove Place, a new affordable housing development in Avondale, Arizona, aimed at providing homes for low-income families and individuals. The project, developed by Dominium, will feature 192 units across 11 buildings on a 10-acre site, with amenities including a pool, fitness center, and community room. Grove Place is part of a larger effort to address the affordable housing crisis in the Phoenix metropolitan area, with funding secured through low-income housing tax credits and other sources. The development is expected to be completed by early 2024, offering residents a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments at below-market rates.
