Teen seriously injured in hit-and-run

  • A teenager was rushed to a hospital after they were hit by a vehicle late Monday night, March 10 in Williamson County.

A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident in the early hours of Sunday morning in the 1000 block of East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The teen was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, leaving him with life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transported to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment. The Jeffersonville Police Department is currently investigating the incident and has not yet identified the vehicle or the driver involved. They are seeking information from the public to help with the investigation.
