These mandates are pushing logistics providers to pivot away from internal combustion engines (ICE) and toward zero-emission alternatives. Tesla's entry into this space is timed to coincide with a peak in demand for heavy-duty electric vehicles (HDEVs) as fleet operators face increasing pressure to decarbonize their supply chains.
For Tesla, the European market offers a different set of challenges and advantages compared to the North American landscape.
