Four people were rescued late Saturday night after a boat ran aground near an island across from the Morgan's Point Resort Marina.

On June 1, 2025, a boat ran aground on an island near Morgan's Point Resort Marina in Lake Belton, Texas, prompting a nighttime rescue operation. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., and four individuals were safely transported to the shore by the Morgan's Point Resort Fire-Rescue team. No injuries were reported, and the boat was later removed from the island with assistance from a tow service.
