Lithuania selects Embraer's C-390 Millennium to boost airlift and NATO interoperability, and complement its current Spartan fleet.

Lithuania has finalized a deal to acquire two Embraer C-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft, marking the first European order for this type of aircraft. The agreement, signed on November 8, 2023, includes not only the purchase of the aircraft but also a comprehensive support package encompassing training, technical support, and maintenance. The C-390, known for its versatility, will enhance Lithuania's military capabilities, particularly in transport and logistical support. The delivery of these aircraft is scheduled to begin in 2026, and this acquisition aligns with Lithuania's strategy to modernize its armed forces and strengthen its defense posture within NATO.
