She recounted a terrifying incident where she believed she was going to die after a piece of her tooth broke off and lodged in her throat while she was eating. This happened during a dinner with her husband, Sean McEwen, and their daughters. Sursok described the panic and fear she felt, thinking she might choke to death in front of her family. She managed to dislodge the tooth fragment by inducing vomiting, but the ordeal left her shaken, prompting her to reflect on life's fragility and the importance of cherishing every moment.
